A 2-day interactive conference on Social Entrepreneurship and Social Economy, hosted by the Commission, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and the city of Strasbourg, will take place on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 January 2014.

"We inform you that the Commission, together with the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and the city of Strasbourg, will be holding a 2-day interactive conference on Social Entrepreneurship and Social Economy, in Strasbourg, on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 January 2014.
This event has already been announced on the Social Business Initiative website, so please don't hesitate to disseminate further through your own network/website.
The conference will take stock of the work done in Europe in the previous 3 years (since the preparation and the launch of the Communication on Social Business Initiative), and pave the way for further developments to foster social entrepreneurship and the social economy in the EU over the coming years."
